In the Bidwell Ranch area, southeast corner of property. From access at the Wildwood Road, head 25 degrees (towards the power lines) for a distance of about a half of a mile. A seasonal creek/drainage runs NW of plot (approximately 20 m to the north). West-facing, gentle slope with Layia, Navarretia, Taeniatherum, and Triphysaria. The type repeats throughout entire Bidwell Ranch area. Adjacent grassland is mostly Taeniatherum, and Avena. Soil is very rocky, aerated (i.e. not very dense).; Grazing indicated at the entrance gate, hoof prints throughout, but no cattle at present.
